4. Sit or stand in an upright position
Keep your head upright and slightly tilt your head back, hold the device in a horizontal position.
5. Exhale away from the device until the lungs are empty. Never blow into the device.
6. Place the mouth of the device between your teeth and grasp the device firmly with your lips.
7. Breathe as DEEP and FAST as you can.
8. Hold your breath for 10 seconds. Take the device away from your mouth and turn it off. After 10 seconds, you can exhale through your nose. In order to better absorb the medicine in Ellipta, you can take 1 more DEEP and FAST breath and hold your breath for 10 seconds without loading the dose.
9. The cover of the device is closed. When the cover of the device is closed, the dose preparation button becomes ready for loading. The dose preparation button is locked when the cover of the device is closed.
10. A second dose. If it is to be applied, repeat the same procedures starting from item 1 after waiting for 1 minute.
11. After the application, gargle your mouth and throat with plenty of water to prevent thrush and coughing in the mouth. Do not swallow the water. You can brush your teeth instead of mouthwash with water.
